Chocolate Ladoo recipe

Decadent and sweet for those special occasions.

INGREDIENTS

3 Tblsps of ghee
3/4 can of NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
1.5 cups of almond flour
4 Tblsps of NESTLÉ Klim Milk Powder
6 Tblsps of NESTLÉ Cocoa Powder
2 Tblsps of hazelnuts

METHOD

Begin by bringing 3 tablespoons of ghee and 3/4 can of NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk to a gentle simmer in a thick-based pot.
After 10 minutes, slightly increase the heat, stirring continuously to bring the mixture to a boil.
Add NESTLÉ Klim Milk Powder, hazelnuts, and NESTLÉ Cocoa Powder as well as the almond flour. Stir continuously, ensuring any lumps are mixed in, creating a smooth batter. Allow the batter to thicken.
Spray a glass oven dish with a non-stick oil. Pour the mixture in, and let it cool on your kitchen counter until it's cooled enough that you can handle it. TIP: Ladoo is easier to mould if it's still slightly warm, so no need to rush by trying to cool it in the fridge.
Once the mixture has cooled enough, break off small pieces and roll them into bite-size balls. Resist the urge to eat them all, they’re made to be shared. Or not.
Store in an airtight container to be enjoyed anytime as an afternoon treat or indulgent midnight snack.
